MIP FAQs: Amendment

  1. I have received additional fee. Can you please transfer this case to my workbench?
  2. Why isn’t my case on the docket?
  3. I completed Review Data Received activity, and it is no longer on my workbench. Where is it? Why hasn’t ‘Distribute Determination’ started?
  4. Since the legal description is now split into two boxes in the MIP, and the first box only allows a certain number of characters, is there any way to adjust the first box to only allow the analyst to type in that number of characters?
1.  I have received additional fee. Can you please transfer this case to my workbench?

Only an assigned potential user can work on ‘ReceiveAdditionalData.’  If the case is at ‘Process Request,’  or ‘ReviewDataReceived’ you can request the analyst/engineer to push this case to the ‘ReceiveAdditionalData’ activity. If you are a potential owner for this activity, you can claim and complete this activity.

2. Why isn’t my case on the docket?

The reviewer for this project might have rejected this case and pushed it back to ‘Process Request.’

This might not be apparent to the users, but there might be a template issue preventing this case from appearing on the docket. Please submit a ticket to MIPHELP for assistance if you sure it should have passed the Review Determination step.

4.  Since the legal description is now split into two boxes in the MIP, and the first box only allows a certain number of characters, is there any way to adjust the first box to only allow the analyst to type in that number of characters?

The most likely cause is a template issue causing the next activity in the workflow not to appear. Please submit a ticket to MIPHELP for assistance. The analyst will be informed once MIPHELP determine the cause is a template issue. The analyst can print and mail the determination document, and inform MIPHELP the completion dates so the database can be updated.

At this time the application does have any character counter build into the legal description box. The analyst has to perform the trial and error method to adjust the legal description on the document.
