The FEMA DFIRM Tools training modules were developed as a resource for users to learn the basic functionality and general DFIRM concepts associated with the DFIRM Tools. The interactive modules cover a variety of subjects to assist users in understanding components of the DFIRM and LOMR production process and how to successfully use the DFIRM Tools to create your deliverables for FEMA. The module topics range from an introductory level explanation of a DFIRM to a high-level discussion of GIS editing techniques and tricks of the trade. To facilitate understanding the modules’ content, each module has graphics, short movies, tips, key points to remember, and glossary terms.
