Will there be a fix to the Scoping and 
Discovery Earned Value reporting issue? 

At this time, the issue is being examined, but is 
not part of the current implementation plan. 

 

If a new project is started within the next 
few months, which server would it be 
housed on? 

All newly created projects will automatically be 
stored on the new WBS server and will not 
undergo any transition. 

I am new to the MIP. How do I proceed 
with data validations? 

Coordinate with your regional Black Belt. If 
escalation is needed, they can get in touch with 
your FEMA Champion and MIP Help. 

The most recent version of Appendix M 
states that a metadata file needs to be 
uploaded to the MIP in Discovery, 
however there is no point at which the 
user can choose to upload this file. Will 
this issue be addressed in an updated 
version of Appendix M? 

Appendix M will be updated to include the 
workaround for this process. 

How can I improve my troubleshooting of 
MIP issues?
