What’s New in Release 3, Service Pack 18 Release Number: Release 3, Service Pack 18 (R3SP18) Release Date: August 28, 2009 Duration of Downtime: 24 hours Summary: Release 3 Service Pack 18 (R3SP18) primarily focuses on sequencing enhancements and changes needed to support the transition from the National Service Provider (NSP) to the Production and Technical Services (PTS) contractors. Highlights: . PTS Transition: The MIP has transitioned from a single NSP contract to three PTS contractors. The regions have been divided amongst the PTS contractors as follows: PTS Contractor Regions BakerAECOM 4, 8, 9 RAMPP 2, 3, 6 STARR 1, 5, 7, 10 As part of the transition, MOD/NSP users will no longer be able to see cost data in the dashboard and reports. However, the Program Management (PM) contractor will have access to this data. . Sequencing: The current sequencing tool was designed and developed to accommodate/modify funds allocated for FEMA’s Map Modernization (Map Mod) program. The enhancements introduced in this service pack will facilitate the transition from Map Mod to Risk MAP. The enhancements are intended to provide some additional functionalities and improved performance to the sequencing users. The major functional requirements of the sequencing tool are as follows: . Ability to fund projects through fiscal year 2020 . Modify search/filtering and retrieving capability of the sequencing projects . Ability to create and edit two new project types: 1. Engineering Study and Physical Map Revision 2. Cooperating Technical Partners Program Manager . Require new data fields and capture new information for all project types . Require new fiscal years to accommodate Risk MAP funding years
