SP14 training
SP 14 training provides an overview of the new features and capabilities available on the MIP. Two training courses were developed – one for Managers and one for Producers.
- Service Pack 14 Training Manager Course
This class is designed for mapping partner staff members who serve as overall project managers and are responsible for entering financial information and project status. It covers how to remain in compliance with Procedure Memorandum 35 – Additional Requirements for Inclusion in FY05 Study Contracts and report the status of your projects to FEMA Regions.
Topics in the Manager class include:

- Service Pack 14 Training Producer Course
This class is designed for mapping partner staff members and sub–contractors who are responsible for data submission activities (including uploading and delivering FEMA–compliant data). It covers how to deliver compliant data, receive on–screen QA feedback from the automated metadata tools, and how the project manager and FEMA Region view the workflow progress.

MIP Workbench-Revisions
Project Administrator – In this module you will learn the role of the Project Administrator, with respect to Revisions.
Resource Manager – In this module you will learn the role of the Resource Manager, which is usually filled by a regional manager.
Project Lead – In this module you will learn the role of the Project Lead, which is usually equivalent to a Lead Engineer position.
Audit Lead – In this module you will learn the role of Audit Lead, which has the responsibility of auditing the case review of a project that is processed by a Cooperating Technical Partner (CTP).
Fee Administrator – In this module you will learn the role of the Fee Administrator, with respect to Revisions.
FEMA Revision Lead – In this module you will learn the role of the FEMA Revision Lead, which is usually filled by a FEMA Project Engineer.
Task Lead – In this module you will learn the role of the Task Lead, which comprises the bulk of a case review which includes the preliminary and detailed technical engineering review, the generation of the LOMR determination document and attachments, and the issuance of the determination.
